Welcome NOVAL was created to bring together artists who want to share their ideas with each other and the community. We are a diverse group of beginner to professional artists producing work in all media: photography, watercolor, oils, acrylics, pastels, etc. We have a monthly meeting and plein air art outing. We have our own shows in local businesses, restaurants and in juried shows. Some of the juried shows include "Art at the Mill" in Millwood and the Oatlands Plantation Art Show. We also get invited to do painting demos for other organizations. We'd love to share our work with you. Upcoming Shows &  Activities Spotlight on the Arts Plein Air Event at the Workhouse Art Center April 27, 2013 Monthly Paint Out  - April 20, 2013 Stone Bridge Bluebells and Bull Run Winery We'll be painting at the Manassas Battlefield park at Stone Bridge along the creek path with a view of the Eastern Bluebells that are in bloom. Around 11 am we will make our way to the Winery at Bull Run, (wineryatbullrun.com) next door to the park. The winery has a lovely tasting room building with intricate architecture and a historic ruins area. There is plenty of picnic benches for lunch and a critique after the painting session.
